Australia gets second place on the list of most safe places to travel and conduct business in the world, due to low crime rates and excellent safety in various layers of population.
Natural hazards, such as deadly animals such as crocodiles and poisonous snakes, are what one pictures when they think about Australia. Nevertheless, an Australian state has recently been ranked as the second best for tourists in the whole world making this assertion false.
This year, Australia was second in Berkshire Hathaway's annual safety study, up from tenth last year, because of low crime rates, a remote location. In determining these factors we considered terrorism, diseases, mobility, health and weather events.
The report discusses several of the categories in which Australia performs commendably in terms of travel and tourism. It came second in transportation, third in protection from violent crime, and fourth in safety for women, color, and LGBTQIA+ members. Australia was highly rated by parents, earning recognition as the best country for travelling with children.
Of curious note, age groups also affect how safety is perceived. Whereas millennial respondents put Australia in the third position, Gen Z cohorts rated it eighth. On the other hand, older respondents rated it fifth, showing that respondents have different perceptions on safety on travel and tourism.
For the very first time, in the issued by Berkshire Hathaway, the concept of Safe Travel Hall of Fame was introduced, and Australia was among those countries that have been in the top ten every single year since the inception of the ratings in 2018.
With the changes taking place throughout the world, on the other hand, Australia’s global stature as a safe travel and tourism hub is still intact as it continues to welcome people to its beautiful sights and culture free of worries.
