Propel is partnering with Razorleaf to maximize ERP integration resulting in product data harmonization, silo reduction, and rapid product development using collaborative technologies.
Propel and Razorleaf have revealed that the two companies would collaborate strategically to improve enterprise resource planning (ERP) integration and product data management (PDM).
The partnership takes advantage of the Razorleaf CLOVER platform, which will combine Propel Product Value Management (PVM) with other ERP and PDM systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, SolidWorks, and Autodesk. This is aimed at making engineering data interoperable across the platforms and reducing manual human effort and system complexity.
Propel, based on Salesforce, integrates product information management (PIM), quality management (QMS), and product lifecycle management (PLM) into a single tool. The collaboration will allow the manufacturers to design a clean digital thread to improve the visibility, traceability, and control of changes in the product lifecycle.
The collaboration will remove the silos between engineering, ERP, and downstream operations, leading to increased cooperation and rapid product development.
Propel Chief Product Officer Eric Schrader said there is an increased desire to integrate ERP solutions into the present manufacturing environment, and the collaboration will allow a variable but unified ecosystem to meet the needs of the ever-changing business.
The partnership will take on a renewed approach to how manufacturers will connect PLM systems, PDM, and ERP systems, having a secure and productive flow of information.
