Orbia opens Pune IT Hub to enhance business innovation, digital transformation, and sustainability in its global business operations.
Mexican global sustainable solutions company Orbia has declared the opening of its new IT Hub at Pune, India and this is a significant milestone in its global business transformation strategy. Orbia will also have five business units supported by the hub: Polymer Solutions, Building and Infrastructure, Precision Agriculture, Connectivity Solutions and Fluor and Energy Materials.
According to Orbia, the new center will improve innovation and efficiency in the global businesses of the company, as the vice president and CIO, Andrea Bergamini, stated. He said that this hub will help us work more efficiently and develop technology that will progress life in our businesses and communities.
The IT Hub in Pune will be used as a digital transformation strategic business hub in relation to data analytics, cloud engineering, cybersecurity, and automation. It seeks to enhance sustainability, performance of operations and customer experience within the global business ecosystem of Orbia.
Rajya-Lakshmi Tokachichu, Head of IT Pune, Data, and Digital Technologies, mentioned that India is the most suitable due to the high level of digital talent and technology infrastructure. The project was made in collaboration with the Zinnov global consulting firm.
Managing Partner in Zinnov, Karthik Padmanabhan, emphasized that the hub shows how the combination of technology, purpose, and talent can help global businesses grow faster and be more sustainable.
