Oracle extends Clinical One Data Collection with AI-based EHR integration, safety reporting, and workflow optimization to promote clinical research worldwide.
Oracle has added significant improvements to its Electronic Data Capture (EDC) feature, Oracle Clinical One Data Collection, designed to lower the burden in conducting clinical trials and improve interoperability with Electronic Health Record (EHR) processes.
The updates are compatible with Oracle Safety One Argus and other safety platforms and lead to a decrease in data friction across systems to speed up research, safety reporting, and of course the thermodynamic market and bring therapies to market. The enhancements (developed in partnership with major pharma firms and the Oracle CRO Growth Network) demonstrate that Oracle takes the delivery of AI-driven and interoperable solutions very seriously.
The key feature is Oracle Clinical Connector, which allows safe and AI-supported exchanges of Oracle Health, other EHRs, and Clinical One Data Collection. This renders the elimination of manual entry, enhances accuracy and quickens trial workflows. This platform also brings in complex document management, where trial sites can upload files, including laboratory reports, straight into the platform to provide a holistic view of the subject.
Also, now with integrated safety reporting, adverse events can be faster and more accurately handled with ICH E2B(R3) standards. Such a system is fully interoperable with Oracle Safety One Argus and other comparable systems, increasing adherence and reducing redundant effort.
These innovations represent the Oracle vision of a connected healthcare ecosystem that hosts breakthroughs, medical insights, and efficiency and data accuracy, said Seema Verma, executive vice president and general manager of Oracle Health and Life Sciences.
The upgrades are still present in different parts of the world as a routine process of clinical update by the company.
