Spreedly has revealed a significant enhancement of its open payments system by supporting Just-In-Time Card Updates on Visa cards deployed with Visa Account Updater (VAU). Such improvement will greatly enhance the reliability of payments and cards used in the recurring billing and subscription systems since it can make card credentials up-to-date in real-time.

This is in contrast to conventional batch updates, a feature that enables merchants to have access to the freshest card data at the very time of making transactions. The outcome is increased authorization rates, abatement of slipped payments, and customer retention.
