Peterborough's the Lettings Hub Acquired by Canopy to Enhance Proptech Services

Lettings Hub commenced its operation from Peterborough, a vendor of proptech services, being acquired by Canopy and now is going to collaborate with it to enhance services for UK letting agents.

Fresh beginnings for The Lettings Hub, a Peterborough-based proptech; progressive acquisition by Canopy of Insurestreet Ltd of London-the acquisition marks a key milestone in both companies' endeavors to improve the entire rental experience for tenants, landlords, and letting agents throughout the UK.

The Lettings Hub, which has recently celebrated its twelfth birthday, will still work independently while merging the best bits of both companies' technologies. This cooperation will broaden the services provided and therefore add more value to the lettings sector. With over 100 employees in Peterborough, The Lettings Hub has every intention to maintain its roots while further scaling out from here.

According to Heidi Shackell, CEO at The Lettings Hub, the company has many things to be proud of an excellent team and great loyal clients. With the acquisition, she said, her company will be in a better position to meet the ever-changing demands of the lettings market, focusing on proptech innovation.

Chris Hutchinson, chief executive officer of Canopy, repeated the observation noting the game-changing potential of the deal. With this partnership, the two companies together now support over 2,500 letting agent clients in combining their resources to provide the industry with an expanded, integrated proptech service.
