Pat Crowley, a Cincinnati public relations and media veteran, dies at 63 and leaves imprint on city's media and PR landscape.
Pat Crowley, a public relations and journalism icon in the Greater Cincinnati, has left this world unexpectedly at the young age of sixty-three. He was the most charming, the funniest, and the most expertly PR-operating guy who had busted decades in making influential calls while charmingly persuading politicians, journalists, and business bigwigs with his wit.
After working at a newspaper, Crowley founded Strategic Advisers, focusing on media and marketing relations. With a strong network, he became a key figure in public relations regionally. Pat Crowley's move to this field reinforced both professional and personal connections, cultivating lasting relationships with clients and friends alike.
He was the person who had the knack for bringing people together, was really hard-working, and had an over-the-top personality. Crowley's legacy in public relations will endure in all those lives he has touched.
