Red Hat has released JBoss EAP 8, providing efficient cloud workflow tools, and compatibility with Jakarta EE 10, enabling continuous support for enterprise Java development.
Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (JBoss EAP) 8 is now generally available, according to Red Hat. The newest version of the platform offers customers an effective path to application modernization and ongoing support for enterprise Java application development. It also promises improved security features, more effective cloud workflow tools, and complete compatibility with Jakarta EE 10.
Application modernization has become a key corporate strategy. According to data from 451 Research, a division of S&P Global Market Intelligence, regardless of the state of the economy, over half (51%) of organizations plan to boost investment in this area. This implies a continuous, unending commitment to modernization.
According to Red Hat, the increasing popularity of cloud-based application development further highlights the significance of a robust application expansion strategy, enhanced provider support, and an intuitive developer experience in cloud environments. In order to help enterprises create, execute, manage, and implement Jakarta EE (formerly Java EE) applications across a variety of environments, including on-premise, virtual, private, public, and hybrid clouds, JBoss EAP steps in as a comprehensive solution.
JBoss EAP, a modular platform, is ideal for open hybrid cloud environments due to its small memory footprint and quick startup times, improving developer productivity, reducing operational complexity, and streamlining modernization processes.
