Through its collaboration with Sunsure Energy Suzlon developed a 100.8 MW wind farm in Maharashtra which strengthens India's renewable energy capabilities for ecological sustainability purposes.
Suzlon secured a 100.8 MW EPC wind power contract from Sunsure Energy to introduce the client to wind energy operations. The project which operates in Maharashtra’s Jath region advances the renewable energy ambitions of both companies toward their shared objective of reaching 500 GW non-fossil fuel capacity by 2030.
The terms of the agreement require Suzlon to deliver 48 S120 wind turbine generators equipped with Hybrid Lattice Towers which produce 2.1 MW power apiece. Post-project maintenance alongside supply will be handled by Suzlon while installation and commissioning will guarantee operational success.
The CEO of Suzlon JP Chalasani pointed to Independent Power Producers (IPPs) as major players in advancing renewable energy use. According to him wind energy remains the most affordable source of high-quality power that can lead India toward its clean energy objectives.
Vivek Srivastava from Suzlon's India Business division expressed that the partnership with Sunsure will power the growth of renewable energy distribution.
Manish Mehta at Sunsure Energy believes the project will strengthen their renewable energy operations while advancing their RTC power supply capability.
Sunsure reaches an important development toward its goal of 10 GW capacity by 2030 while providing sustainable power solutions that support India’s clean energy prospects.
