LeBron James to Consider Broadcasting Career after NBA

LeBron is considering his post basketball career in broadcasting, much like how Tom Brady did after retiring. Would rather do guest appearances instead of signing contracts and wants to keep the space for future projects available.

LeBron James is heading into his 22nd year in the NBA; he is beginning to think about life outside the court and what could transpire in the sphere of broadcasting. In his latest appearance on the Golic and Gojo podcast, the famous Lakers player suggested that he might be considering a broadcasting career that could mimic the successful change made by NFL legend Tom Brady.

Having two years left on his existing contract, James is conscious that retirement is coming near. He stated, “You know, I really don't know — but I definitely feel like I love that sport. I love playing basketball, I love football. I view it not only as a fan, but also by breaking down different matchups and matters of that kind.”

The in comparison to Brady is intriguing, since he has without any flaws embarked on a full-time broadcasting career, maintaining a robust participation in the NFL. Though James prefers a less demanding focus, he might go after opportunities like those of the Manning brothers or Bill Belichick, who bridge their media roles with additional obligations.

James had kicked off his media venture with podcast along his co-hosts alongside ex-player J.J. Redick, showing his expertise in reaching audiences beyond the playing field. Although he has these achievements in his sights, and with a developing enthusiasm for sports ownership, there’s a lingering uncertainty surrounding the path he’ll take post-retirement.
