Audos is an AI feature that is being used to support normal entrepreneurs to startup in a short period of time, providing tools, funding and marketing without equity.
Henrik Werdelin, a startup veteran best known as the founder of both Prehype and Barkbox, has just started a new company called Audos that has an ambitious goal, perhaps best summed up as an attempt to democratize startup building with the help of AI. Headquartered in New York, Audos uses AI agents to walk non-technical customers through a process of launching a startup including idea generation, customer targeting, etc.
Audos method is aimed at the so-called "donkeycorns," modest startups that might never become attractive to VC companies and yet can convert into a stable, life-changing income. Audos has found that in lieu of equity they accept a 15 percent share of sales in the form of equipment, capital up to 25,000 dollars, and marketing via social media such as Instagram.
Since putting it into beta, Audos has already assisted hundreds of founders to start businesses including an AI nutritionist and a digital swing coach. With the help of 11.5 million in seed funding by True Ventures and others, Audos is focused on making the entire society of a million startups with a million dollars in collective impact.
Werdelin has identified a potential opportunity in democratized entrepreneurship due to the instability of traditional employment. According to him, we regard the world as improved with additional startups.
