BIMTECH and Hexalog Technologies Partner to Launch a Supply Chain Centre of Excellence, Offering Students Real-World Stakes, Live Data Access, and INR 1 Lakh in Venture Credits.
Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH) has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hexalog Technologies to establish a supply chain and logistics Centre for Excellence (CoE) at its campus. The MoU was announced as a three-year pact and was signed in the presence of Prof. Pankaj Priya, Deputy Director & Dean (Academics), and Dr. Danish Nasir, Associate Professor of Practice (Operations and Decision Sciences), BIMTECH, along with team members of Hexalog Technologies. The institutions, through their collaboration, look to provide students with opportunities to engage with the industry by pursuing internships, attending training programs on the job, completing live consulting assignments, and being exposed to real-world supply chain operations. Also, the Centre aims to offer micro-credential and certificate programs aligned with industry standards in domains such as artificial intelligence in logistics, supply chain analytics, and digital freight management.
Furthermore, the MoU also envisions strengthening of industry-academia collaboration with both institutions organizing learning activities such as supply chain fest, joint research, case development, and hackathons. They are also expected to curate executive education programs for working professionals, executives, and managers. The proposed COE is designed to function in a structured approach. Hexalog would shortlist the top five of the 12 student teams nominated by BIMTECH based on their innovation, ability to scale operations, and market relevance. Each selected team is assured of practical learning and venture readiness, with “Hexalog Credits” worth INR 1 Lakh to be provided to them for supporting their logistics and supply chain operations.
Moreover, Mr. Dibyanshu Tripathi, CEO & Co-Founder, Hexalog Technologies, highlighted the strategic significance of the collaboration, “What Hexalog is formalizing today isn’t a symbolic gesture; it’s a working partnership. Students will get direct access to live databases and the kind of supply chain complexity that doesn’t exist in textbooks – real constraints, real trade-offs, and real stakes.” The partnership is equally important for BIMTECH, which is among the top globally recognized B-Schools with an 8000+ individuals strong alumni network.
