Gyproc India’s ‘Beyond Dimensions’ Challenge Inspires Next Generation of Architecture and Design Innovators

By taking part in Gyproc India’s design challenge, students develop sustainability in architecture and interiors, supporting eco-friendly building choices across different parts of India.

Gyproc India arranged for the nationwide round of its 'Beyond Dimensions with Gyproc' design contest in Mumbai to highlight creative work in architecture and design. The goal is to fascinate new architects and interior designers to plan eco-friendly construction and advance sustainability in India.

More than 800 teams belonged to more than 120 colleges and in the end; their work resulted in 230 unique solutions. The jury panel for this competition was made up of experts such as Ar. Kavitha Selvaraj, Ar. Manish Dikshit and Ms. Shailee Goswami.

The winning group will go on a tour of Dubai to discover the latest in sustainable construction and architecture. Furthermore, all finalists can take part in the IGBC Certification Course on Green Built Environment which helps them become more involved in sustainability at work.

According to Sudeep Kolte, the ‘Beyond Dimensions’ program focuses on encouraging future designers to create smart, resource-efficient and environmentally friendly interiors. Through this initiative, we can see how drywall technology will change the direction of architecture and interior design.

With its ‘Beyond Dimensions’ initiative, Gyproc India underlines its support for environmental protection, helping youth gain insights and making communities stronger.
