Experience immersive art, interactive installations, and community spirit at the Entangle exhibit, hosted by Invisible Threads.
The Entangle exhibit presented by Invisible Threads, invites people to engage themselves in the unique blend of art, music and community on September 13 and 14, 2024. This two-day event is held at Open Space Event Studios in Bend, Oregon promising an immersive experience through engaging experiences like workshops and live performances.
Invisible Threads, known for its community-focused events across Central Oregon, aims to create inclusive spaces where art and music flourish. The Entangle exhibit, curated by Caitlin Wraith and Rachel Lee Carmen, embodies this mission by merging visual and interactive art, encouraging active participation from visitors.
The exhibit will showcase 14 interactive installations, featuring the work of over 30 local artists. Highlights include a cozy writing room set up inside a blanket fort, where participants can write and reflect in a comfortable setting. The event will also include workshops, live performances, and film screenings, offering a multifaceted cultural experience. The Entangle exhibit runs from noon to 10 p.m. each day, with tickets priced between $10 and $20.
Wraith and Carmen highlight the exhibit's role in fostering connections among attendees and artists, reflecting on the collaborative spirit that has evolved from Invisible Threads' origins. “Entangle is more than just supporting local art and music,” Wraith notes.
