Randstad India hires Cauvery Uthappa as CMO in order to lead marketing strategy, digital transformation strategy and branding with the aim of growing brands in the Indian talent arena.
Randstad India has appointed Cauvery Uthappa as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), making it a significant addition to her talent solutions firm. She is coming in with Adecco as director and head of marketing, communications, and public affairs.
Uthappa is an alumnus of Symbiosis Institute of Management and has more than 20 years of experience in varied subject matter in marketing. She has extensive work experience at ESPN Star Sports, HP, Siemens IT Solutions (now Atos), Team Lease Services and Adecco.
In her new role as CMO at Randstad India, she is charged to head the marketing strategy of the company with the global objective of developing powerful, future-ready campaigns. She will concentrate on the so-called Partner to Talent strategy of Randstad, improving digitalization, and making the company stronger in terms of AI-first marketing.
Viswanath PS, MD & CEO of Randstad India, has said that she is confident that her leadership would bring a faster pace of digitalization as well as strengthen the standing of the company as a trusted talent partner. Frank Oerlemans, CMO APAC at Randstad, commented on her established knowledge of the Indian market and a growth driver.
Uthappa said her focus would be to build an insight-based marketing activated plan to enhance the level of engagement with clients and talent while increasing brand differentiation of Randstad in India, which is changing by the day.
This new appointment as CMO highlights the mission at Randstad India to develop world-class marketing competencies to fuel profitable growth and sustain brand credibility.
