MediaMint buys Taktical Digital to expand AI-powered digital marketing and growth services across North America.
MediaMint has announced the acquisition of a high-growth company with a strong focus on performance-driven digital marketing, media, and content services called Taktical Digital. The deal bolsters MediaMint's presence in North America and helps catapult the company into its metamorphosis as an Agentic AI-powered digital marketing company.
Founded in 2014 by Ilan Nass and Derek Rubinstein in the SoHo district in New York, Taktical Digital has carved a name for itself in the field of performance media buying, growth marketing, SEO, Generative AI Engine Optimization (GEO), and full-funnel optimization. Its predominantly North America-based team will join with MediaMint's global workforce of more than 3,000 worldwide in several areas.
The acquisition brings together Tako's hands-on digital marketing capabilities along with Agentic AI solutions offered by MediaMint, such as MediaMint's brand-new Mia by MediaMint platform. Together, the companies hope to offer a scalable, outcome-driven digital marketing execution across industries like media, technology, retail, ecommerce and entertainment.
Rajeev Butani, chairman and CEO of MediaMint, said the transaction makes strategic and cultural sense and will allow clients to achieve rapid growth through intense digital marketing execution. Taktical's founders added that MediaMint's system of AI-powered framework and global scale will enable faster insights, more efficient campaigns and higher-impact creative.
Industry observers point out that the deal puts MediaMint in a better position as a global contender as digital marketing continues to converge with AI, automation, and performance-focused growth models.
