Zscaler has released Asset Exposure Management, which complements Enterprise Asset Management by providing automated risk assessment, real-time insights, and essential security gap findings.
Zscaler has just launched Zscaler Asset Exposure Management, the newest solution from the company in this field. The software focuses on amplifying the way enterprises manage asset risks associated with Enterprise Asset Management. This offering is an integral part of the CTEM strategy of Zscaler and seeks to enable organisations to gain precise asset visibility and mitigate cyber risks.
Traditionally, IT and security teams struggled with keeping asset inventories accurate, typically using inefficient spreadsheets to do so. In short, this new solution uses Zscaler's Enterprise Asset Management capabilities, collecting and consolidating data from multiple sources, automating updates, and improving risk assessment.
More than 500 billion security transactions are processed on Zscaler's Zero Trust Exchange platform on a daily basis, making insights available for enterprise risk in real time. Besides, Business Enterprises are likely to include features of Enterprise asset management, thereby inducing identification of the security gap and automating the remediation workflow to enhance compliance coverage, especially in industries like Healthcare or Finance.
CISO LifeLabs Mike Melo told that the previous tools missed policy management capabilities for tracking risky assets, whereas Zscaler is a much simpler way to achieve compliance.
Zscaler's Chief Product Officer, Adam Geller, said that enterprises have tracked their assets and risk over a long time and thus have been duly challenged. This is how Enterprise Asset Management within Zscaler's framework provides deeper insights into enterprises and helps firms take informed security by integrating first-party telemetry with third-party data.
As threats are increasing regarding cyber attacks, digital solutions like Zscaler Asset Exposure Management will play a major role in protecting the enterprise function with modern Enterprise Asset Management practices.
