Revyze aims to blend education and social engagement to create a new era of peer-driven learning.
Revyze, the innovative edtech company, has raised $6M in a seed funding round to expand its GenZ-focused social learning app. Led by Speedinvest and Moonfire, the round saw participation from top investors, including Supercell co-founder Illka Paananen and Duolingo’s Nickey Skarstad. The funding follows a $2.2M pre-seed round and supports Revyze’s goal of creating a global social learning platform that resonates with GenZ and GenAlpha.
Revyze addresses the educational challenges exacerbated by COVID-19 and the rise of platforms like TikTok, which have impacted students' attention spans and learning habits. The app offers a unique approach by combining short-form, peer-created educational videos with gamified elements, described by co-founder Guillaume Perrot as “Duolingo meets TikTok.”
Since its launch in 2022, Revyze has garnered over 1 million users and reached one-third of French 9th graders, ranking #1 on the App Store. The platform hosts over 20,000 videos from 2,000 creators, resulting in more than 150 million views. Stories like Max, a visually impaired 8th grader, demonstrate the app’s impact on personalized, accessible learning.
Revyze plans to gamify the learning experience further, with daily quests and social engagement features, and expand to the U.S. by 2025. The company is now looking to recruit top global talent to join its mission of reshaping education through peer-driven, AI-supported learning.
