At Summit 2026, the cloud ERP leader shows how intelligence, not just data, is shaping modern enterprises.
At Acumatica Summit 2026 in Seattle, one message stood out clearly, ERP is no longer just a system of record. It is evolving into the brain of the business. Over three days in late January, leaders from cloud ERP provider Acumatica outlined a future where ERP helps companies predict outcomes, identify risks early, and act with greater confidence.
Acumatica CEO John Case described this shift through the idea of a “digital replica” of the business, a unified model that brings together finance, operations, customers, and partners in real time. Rather than relying on backward-looking reports, organizations can now spot trends as they emerge and respond before small issues become big problems. As Acumatica President and COO Sanket Akerkar noted, “It’s about understanding not just what happened, but why and what comes next.”
One of the summit’s key announcements was the 2026R1 Beta release, which introduces AI agents designed to work behind the scenes. These agents understand business context, flag unusual activity, and reduce complex workflows into simpler steps, helping teams get more done with less effort.
The event also highlighted Acumatica’s partner-led growth strategy. With over 10,000 customers and a global network of 500+ partners, the company relies on trusted experts to help businesses expand beyond basic ERP and adopt advanced capabilities at their own pace. Its usage-based pricing model supports growth without locking customers into rigid structures.
For mid-sized companies, the takeaway was clear: ERP is becoming smarter, lighter, and far more focused on helping people make better decisions every day.
