Oracle Integrates AI Agents into ERP and Supply Chains

Oracle introduced AI-based ERP and SCM agents, which are responsible for automation, efficiency, and intelligence in operations to the enterprise systems.

Oracle has changed the name of its yearly event from CloudWorld to AI World, implying a transition in enterprise software from cloud workloads to AI-powered operations. During AI World 2025, the company showcased the fact that agentic AI has already made its way into the ERP and supply chain workflows, carrying out the tasks and increasing the efficiency of the operations.

Within the Fusion Cloud ERP, Oracle's AI agents take over the invoice processing, ledger updates, and event-driven financial planning, consequently lowering the manual control and offering real-time insights. On the same note, Fusion Cloud SCM agents carry out the inventory checks, supplier requisitions, and maintenance tasks, thereby connecting planning and execution perfectly.

“The vision is to integrate AI as an active, reliable component of ERP operations,” commented Hari Sankar, Oracle's VP for EPM. The agents are planned to operate without the need for additional modules, thus making the process of finance and supply chain teams' adoption easy and hassle-free.

Besides, Oracle has made the AI Agent Marketplace available, allowing the company’s clients to implement the validated agents or partner-built solutions straight away into their ERP and SCM systems. The no-code method makes it easier for companies to try out AI for sustainability tracking, supplier risk scoring, and asset management, among others.

The early industry reactions have been optimistic that the implementation of these agents can lead to measurable benefits in the areas of manufacturing, logistics, and healthcare, as the agents are reported to have improved compliance, reduced waste, and made workflows more efficient. Oracle's embedded AI approach gives the enterprises a practical route to improving ERP capabilities without increasing complexity, even though integration with old systems still presents a challenge.
