Tetra Pak Launches Innovation Hub in Thailand to Fast-Track Food & Beverage Growth

New development centre in Rayong aims to help brands turn ideas into market-ready products faster and more efficiently.

In a strategic move to strengthen food and beverage innovation across Asia-Pacific, Tetra Pak has opened a state-of-the-art Product Development Centre (PDC) in Rayong. The new facility is designed to help manufacturers develop, test, and launch products with greater speed and confidence.

As highlighted by CIO Bulletin, the centre offers pilot-scale production capabilities, allowing companies to experiment with recipes and processes before investing heavily in full-scale manufacturing. This significantly reduces both cost and risk, two major challenges in the food and beverage industry.

Spanning 40,000 square feet, the facility supports fast-growing categories such as dairy, beverages, plant-based foods, and nutrition products. It also provides services like sensory testing, shelf-life analysis, and nutritional evaluation, helping brands ensure quality and market readiness.

The Rayong centre works closely with Tetra Pak’s existing innovation hub in Bangkok, creating a unique journey from idea creation to commercial launch. Together, they form a complete ecosystem for food and beverage companies aiming to stay competitive in a rapidly evolving market.

With Thailand already known as a global food export business leader, this new centre is expected to further strengthen its position as a key innovation hub. As CIO Bulletin observes, initiatives like this are shaping the future of food by making innovation faster, smarter, and more accessible.
