Samsung confirms big changes for its next flagship phones, promising a smarter, faster, and more personalized experience powered by next-generation technology.
Samsung is preparing to make a big splash in the smartphone world with its upcoming Galaxy S26 series, confirmed during the company’s Q3 2025 earnings call. The next flagship lineup will focus heavily on artificial intelligence, improved camera performance, and a brand-new processor that could redefine smartphone power and efficiency.
Daniel Araujo, Vice President of Samsung’s Mobile Experience Division, said the Galaxy S26 series will introduce next-generation AI features, a second-generation custom chip, and upgraded camera sensors aimed at transforming the user experience.
Industry experts believe this new custom processor refers to the Exynos 2600, Samsung’s first 2-nanometer chip, which promises faster speeds and better energy efficiency. Some models, such as the Galaxy S26 Plus and S26 Ultra, are expected to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, depending on the region.
While final hardware details are still being tested, Samsung hinted that rising production and memory costs could lead to slightly higher prices for the new phones. Despite that, the company is confident that the improvements in AI and camera performance will make the upgrade worthwhile.
Alongside the S26 lineup, Samsung also plans to strengthen its foldable phones and add health-focused AI features to its Galaxy Watch range. With these plans, Samsung is setting the stage for a smarter, more connected mobile future.
