Samsung Unveils SmartThings Pro

New Platform Aims to Revolutionize Enterprise IoT Management with Advanced Connectivity and AI-Driven Solutions

Samsung has introduced its latest hyper-connected B2B platform, ‘SmartThings Pro,’ at InfoComm 2024 in Las Vegas. The South Korean tech giant's expansive 816 square meter booth at the Las Vegas Convention Center features a display of cutting-edge commercial products and solutions at one of North America's premier display exhibitions.

Jung Hoon, Vice President of Samsung’s Visual Display Business, expressed enthusiasm about the new offerings, stating, “We are thrilled to introduce a wide range of new hardware, solutions, and services at this year’s InfoComm. Samsung will continue to lead the hyper-connected and AI-driven era in the commercial market.”

SmartThings Pro is tailored specifically for the B2B market, offering a comprehensive platform that enables seamless integration and management of various devices, solutions, and services across enterprise environments. The platform supports a range of devices, including smart signage, hotel TVs, and products like lighting, humidity control, and cameras.

A standout feature of SmartThings Pro is its intuitive dashboard, allowing businesses to monitor connected devices' status through AI analysis for efficient management. Additionally, the platform includes an ‘AI Saving Mode’ to reduce power consumption using energy-saving algorithms for connected displays, air conditioners, and appliances.

Samsung plans to roll out SmartThings Pro globally, with customized APIs to support diverse business environments. Strategic collaborations enhance the platform’s capabilities and reach, such as integration with Cisco’s Control Hub for unified management across different systems. Partnerships with Aqara aim to deliver innovative guest experiences in hospitality, while collaboration with Quividi focuses on cloud-based customer data analysis for retail solutions.
