Worldline enhances its collaboration with PSA in order to modernize the national payment infrastructure in Austria.
Worldline SA has enhanced its long-term association with PSA Payment Services Austria GmbH to modernize the national payments infrastructure in Austria with next-generation IT services. The partnership is aimed at providing an improved level of scalability, security, and resilience along with high-quality compliance with the European regulatory standards.
In the deal, Worldline will assist PSA to convert to a new modern, cloud-based, and API-enabled payment infrastructure. These IT services will facilitate quicker implementation of new capabilities as well as provide disruption-free, mission-critical payment processing to the Austrian financial institutions.
The most important aspect of the project is the adoption of the Worldline European sovereign cloud, which will enable PSA to upgrade its technology stack without disturbing persistence, data security, or the stability of its operations. The strategy is a culmination of the advantages of scale and also much attention was paid to the local payment requirements and preferences in Austria, and it offers a new standard of national payment systems.
According to PSA leadership, the project was a pillar in its long-term growth plan and allowed it to offer better services and adopt capabilities in the future. Worldline restated its allegiance to PSA by maintaining innovation and integrated knowledge of the domain.
The collaboration highlights the importance of advanced IT services in redesigning payment ecosystems in Europe, where machines support the use of reliable, resilient, and compliant digital scales through reputable cloud-based IT services.
