Acquisition of Crillon Tours promises bespoke experiences across Bolivia’s breathtaking landscapes.
Luxury travel operator Abercrombie & Kent (A&K) has acquired Bolivia’s renowned Crillon Tours, marking a significant expansion of its South American portfolio. The move aims to offer travelers an unmatched blend of local expertise and high-end luxury, highlighting Bolivia’s striking landscapes, from the vast Salar de Uyuni salt flats to the cultural heart of Sucre and Potosí.
Crillon Tours, alongside its sister brand DMC Bolivia, has long been celebrated for crafting personalized itineraries across the country. By joining A&K, its deep local knowledge will merge with A&K’s global reputation for premium, bespoke journeys; ensuring travelers enjoy seamless adventures and architectures across the continent.
The acquisition will see A&K enhance existing offerings, including luxury camping on the salt flats, river cruises on Lake Titicaca, and culturally immersive experiences with local communities. Airstream trailers will be upgraded to A&K’s Sanctuary standard, blending comfort with authenticity, while extended itineraries will connect Bolivia with neighboring Peru and Chile.
A&K CEO Cristina Levis highlighted the acquisition as a step toward connecting travelers with extraordinary destinations while preserving local culture and traditions. Crillon Tours’ VP Darius Morgan noted that the partnership would allow Bolivia’s landscapes and heritage to reach a wider international audience without compromising authenticity.
For Bolivia, the move signals growing recognition as a luxury travel destination, promising sustainable tourism growth that celebrates its natural wonders and rich cultural heritage. With A&K’s touch, the country’s untouched beauty is set to captivate high-end travelers like never before.
