A PropTech deal between 1Breadcrumb and SignOnSite has merged their operations to develop innovative construction safety solutions that will benefit multiple international markets.

The PropTech market saw a strategic combination when startup 1Breadcrumb acquired SignOnSite from Canberra in a merger that aims to redefine construction safety software. The undisclosed business deal features a $4.5 million SAFE note financed by Five V Capital and Tribe Global Ventures as well as a US-based family office.

1Breadcrumb made its debut in 2020 as its main product uses software for construction site process and worksite management to transition away from traditional paper documentation. The 2013 release of SignOnSite created a key moment in PropTech sector growth through its subsequent acquisition by the PropTech industry. The two businesses work toward matching construction job operations with one another since they operate within the sector dominated by industry leaders like SafetyCulture.

Both companies are planning international expansion by combining their businesses to serve more than 900 organizations employing 1.5 million construction workers throughout Australia, New Zealand and the UK. The combination represents a critical development in PropTech because it merges exceptional innovative capabilities to speed up digital safety advancements in construction projects.

The combined workforce of more than fifty employees will steer the new company toward breaking new ground in construction safety technology innovation and market leadership in the PropTech market.
