The new record for the costliest luxury penthouse sold in Dubai has been set by a nearly 22,000-square-foot penthouse at Palm Jumeriah’s Como Residences.
Dubai has set the record for the most expensive luxury penthouse sold in the city. The nearly 22,000-aquare-feet penthouse at Palm Jumeriah’s Como Residence was sold for AED500 million (US$136.13 million) according to the listing.
The five-bedroom apartment includes glass walls and an incredible perspective of the Dubai skyline from the Arabian Gulf's glittering waves to the renowned skyscrapers, as per a news release regarding the auction last week. The 71-story tower's apartments, according to renderings, will have lofty ceilings, lux finishes that include statement lighting, floating staircases, and others.
It has an advanced home automation system, where visitors and tenants are taken to the apartment in a private elevator. Additionally, there is a wraparound a private pool and glass deck.
The architecture of the tower was influenced by water, with each floor resembling ocean waves, according to Dubai-based Nakheel Properties development firm in charge of the undertaking. There will be several pools constructed into the structure, ending on the 71st floor in a wraparound pool and observation area floor, where the facilities are located, resulting in “a sequence of vertical lakes, featuring a range of shared swimming pools and a number of private, exclusive pools,” the pamphlet stated.
According to Provident, the Como penthouse is the third most expensive penthouse ever constructed and sold worldwide in addition to being the most expensive pad ever sold in Dubai.
