Red Hat OpenShift AI is helping Turkish Airlines achieve its digital transformation, with Turkish Technology leading the effort. The company is using Red Hat’s platform to boost customer care, improve how things work and ensure its aviation system is more efficient across different parts.

General Manager Serdar Gürbüz explained that Red Hat OpenShift AI helps both IT professionals and business users create secure and scalable applications powered by AI. It is through the platform that users can effectively control their GPU network, creating custom AI models with open-source tools like Llama and DeepSeek.

As an IT branch of Turkish Airlines Group, Turkish Technology also designs and develops unique aviation products for the wider industry. Red Hat OpenShift AI is allowing the company to use new optimization models that have transformed both flight planning and fuel management.

Using data helped cut costs, for instance by providing $10 million in fuel efficiencies last year. By using both machine learning and optimization, the airline now decides aircraft assignments using predictions, not fixed routes.
