CIO Bulletin - Hyper-Personalization Reshaping the Travel and Hospitality Sector

Hyper-personalization is one of the highlights of Arabian Travel Market 2025 as one of the trends in the future of luxury travel and hospitality experiences.

Hyper-personalization was one of the key highlights of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2025 and this event saw high-end hospitality companies such as Minor Hotels, Fairmont, and Marriott taking center stage. Industry experts also pointed out the trend of designing custom guest experiences as replacing the customary and traditional forms of service.

The ATM Travel Trends Report 2025, which was made in collaboration with Tourism Economics, noted that 85 percent of hoteliers are convinced that personalization is the key to achieving commercial success, which can bring at least an additional 5 percent of revenues. According to Future Market Insights, the global market for travel personalization could potentially reach $620.71 million by 2032.

The innovation has become a key determinant of this change, and technology, especially the use of AI, chatbots and live data is facilitating large-scale personalized services without losing the human touch. Panelists pointed out that guests want more authentic but personalized experiences, rather than traditional high-level service.

Marriott expansion plans revealed the new luxury hotels, among which the Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Saudi Arabia is in progress and customized safari lodgings in Africa. Minor Hotels will also launch its Anantara Santorini Abu Dhabi experience, which demonstrates the next wave of personalized travelling.

Transforming travel and hospitality will continue to dominate the ATM 2026 stage slated between May 4 and 7 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, and today we are reviewing the latest travel tech innovations.
