Leading Packaging Giant Partners with Academic Institute to Drive Circular Economy Education

UFlex, India's largest multinational in flexible packaging, has teamed up with the Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP) Delhi to promote recycling and sustainability through an innovative new initiative. The partnership aims to inspire young minds to engage with environmental challenges and innovate solutions that will support a greener, more sustainable future.

As part of this collaboration, UFlex has launched the "Ideation Zone" on the IIP Delhi campus, an interactive space dedicated to educating students, professionals, and the public about sustainable practices in packaging. This initiative underscores UFlex’s commitment to advancing the circular economy by showcasing practical applications of recycling, such as using multi-layer plastic and aseptic packaging waste to construct the Ideation Zone.

The project also includes workshops and seminars featuring industry experts, who will discuss advanced recycling technologies and the role of R&D in driving sustainability. Through these efforts, UFlex aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry, preparing future leaders to tackle the environmental impacts of packaging.

UFlex’s Director of Sustainability, Jeevaraj Pillai, emphasized the importance of education in promoting sustainable innovations.
