CEO Christian Klein reveals SAP’s bold AI-driven future that promises smarter, faster business operations and a massive productivity boost.
Celebrating SAP’s 30th anniversary in Korea, CEO Christian Klein has predicted that the manual data entry within SAP software will be eliminated by 2027. At a press conference held in Seoul, Klein stated that SAP’s commitment to AI-driven transformation, highlighting the company’s future plans to bring its generative AI assistant, Joule, to the Korean market.
Klein emphasized SAP’s deep-rooted partnerships with Korean tech giants like Samsung and LG, and acknowledged the nation’s strong interest in AI-driven business growth. He also spoke about SAP’s latest innovations—Business Data Cloud and Joule, both designed to shape the future of data management and automation.
SAP’s most ambitious SaaS solution Business Data Cloud, launched in February, integrates SAP data with external sources, improving AI capabilities and advanced analytics. Also SAP’s partnership with Databricks solidifies this initiative, allowing smooth data integration. In just two weeks, Business Data Cloud has already generated a $650 million sales pipeline, reflecting its humungous demand.
Joule, SAP’s AI assistant, is all set to enhance workplace efficiency. Klein has said that within two years, SAP users will solely rely on natural language commands, removing manual tasks and boosting productivity by 30% to 40%. With over 130 AI use cases now embedded in SAP’s portfolio, businesses across the globe are set to experience a new era of automation.
