Harmonic announces VOS360 Ad upgraded with AI-powered video capabilities, allowing broadcasters and streamers to place ads more intelligently, deliver programmatic ad workflows and maximize revenues.
Harmonichas announced major enhancements to its VOS360 Ad SaaS, further enabling the future of video over-the-top (OTT) solutions for current and future broadcasters, streamers, and content providers. The upgraded platform will present contextual ad triggering through the use of AI capabilities, new monetization processing, and SDKs to popular video players, allowing it to be easily integrated into the current functioning systems.
Such advances in video technology enable advertisements to be placed in real time in live sports events and pull scene-level metadata to determine key moments where ads should be inserted without removing the viewing experience. The upshot is more intelligent and contextually related ads that are both more engaging and do not compromise content.
The platform also digitizes conventional linear TV and takes it to programmatic advertising, enabling broadcast to maximize revenues by utilizing the efficiencies of digital. Through the integration with major demand- and supply-side platforms like Google Ad Manager and Magnite SpringServe, VOS360 Ad streamlines the delivery of ads that ensure viewer satisfaction.
