Meta CMO Alex Schultz launches his digital marketing book which provides knowledge about customer audience strategies and artificial intelligence for campaign analytics.
Alex Schultz will become Meta's Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) by releasing his upcoming publication The Art and Science of Digital Marketing and Advertising on October 7, 2025. The book published together with Wildfire (UK) and Little Brown and Company (USA) features formats including hardcover edition, e-book version and audio format.
As the dual CMO and Vice President of Analytics at Meta Schultz leads digital marketers through the constant changes within online marketing. This text explains methods to identify customers and choose marketing channels and provides strategies for creative content assessment and AI resources utilization and performance measurement system creation.
Schultz communicated in a LinkedIn post that Ogilvy on Advertising represents a classic text for traditional advertising methods before digital began its rise yet digital channels starting from the 1990s lacked proper literature until his book emerged. The Art and Science of Digital Marketing work to address the lack of literary guidance in this field.
The extensive career of Schultz spanning 20 years has enabled him to provide guidance to major companies including Airbnb and Coursera. All earnings from the book's sales will be directed to charities supporting educational initiatives since he took this decision.
The book will provide marketers with valuable information regarding digital channels through Schultz's transformative leadership as Meta's Chief Marketing Officer.
