New platform uses real-time data to boost sales and streamline operations
On July 3, 2025, RADAR unveiled RADAR+, an AI-driven data analytics platform set to transform retail by delivering real-time inventory insights with 99% accuracy. Building on RADAR’s RFID sensor technology, RADAR+ empowers stores to track every item, from fitting rooms to misplaced stock, helping retailers maximize sales with leaner inventories. The platform, launched in New York, marks the first in a series of advanced features aimed at digitizing physical retail.
RADAR+ provides store staff with instant alerts to restock fast-selling items or recover misplaced products, ensuring shelves stay full and sales don’t slip. It tracks customer behavior, like which items are tried on and purchased, while corporate teams gain hourly updates on dwell times, stock availability, and replenishment needs across all stores. This visibility rivals e-commerce analytics, enabling smarter inventory planning and reducing overstocks and losses.
“Physical stores have been data deserts,” said Glenn Burwell, RADAR’s VP of Product and Customer Experience. “RADAR+ changes that, giving retailers real-time insights to optimize every aspect of their operations.” Chief Growth Officer Eric Mogil added, “With stores doubling as fulfillment centers, RADAR+ ensures retailers stay efficient and customer-focused.”
Future RADAR+ updates will include analytics on customer product interactions and staff feedback integration, promising even deeper intelligence. This launch signals a new era for retail, blending AI precision with human-centric operations to drive profitability and exceptional shopping experiences.
