Aser Technology Expands Global Defense Technology Footprint

Aser Technology secures a UN contract, enhancing its presence in sophisticated technology in defense technology all over the world.

The Turkish-based Aser Technology has increased its presence in the world with its advanced radio frequency (RF) jamming equipment being adopted by armored vehicles deployed in the UN missions in the African continent. The milestone indicates the increasing role of the company in defense technology, especially concerning electronic warfare systems.

Aser Technology, one of the leading producers of satellite communications and radar, became the winner of the competitive tender among a few international bidders and already made their deliveries. General Manager Ertan Murat stated that the company has tactical-class jamming systems that are tailored to deal with the remote control improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and drones, two of the most urgent challenges in the contemporary conflict areas.

According to Murat, the project brings the innovations of Aser Technology to the international level, demonstrating that it is a global force in the defense technologies. The company has over 20 years of experience in serving the Turkish Armed Forces and has come up with field-tested solutions that are able to serve complex requirements of operation.

He further said that the products offered by the firm give broad jamming solutions and they include 4.5G and 5G networks, drone communication links and GNSS frequency ranges. This broad area increases the safety of missions of peacekeeping forces sent to work under the UN.

The UN contract represents a major milestone for Aser Technology and reinforces the strategic value of advanced defense technology in contemporary security activities.
