Efekta Launches Major EdTech AI Trial in Latin America

Efekta delivers a mega EdTech Artificial Intelligence trial promoting English in Latin America to enhance teacher educator performance in all types of schools.

Efekta Education Group has made a revolutionary step and introduced EdTech in Latin America as one of the largest implementations of AI-driven learning tools worldwide. The program covers 11-17-year-old students with four million learners in mind: to increase the level of English proficiency among teachers and decrease workload by using the advanced technology in a classroom.

In the EdTech rollout, there are two applications that rely on AI: Classroom AI, which helps a teacher with grading and the creation of lesson plans, and Addi, a student-focused tutor, which provides individual English lessons based on their progress. Teams at Efekta assist in implementing these applications into daily school programs and introducing them into regular classes.

The program is based on one that was conducted in Paraná, Brazil, with 750,000 students boosting their English test scores by 32%. The massive experiment aims to replicate the success of the program in regions that face a shortage of educational resources and have overcrowded classrooms.

Efekta CEO Stephen Hodges said that EdTech can supplement teachers and they could help every student to have a possibility of succeeding by integrating AI and a structured curriculum.

The program is dedicated to EdTech and its increasing potential as a solution to the universal educational problems and enhancing their outcomes on a global scale.
