Antavo’s 2025 report forecasts the playing of gamification and AI in loyalty programs that help improve customer engagement, reward personalization and ROI for businesses all over the world.

The release of Antavo’s Global Customer Loyalty Report 2025 uncovers some of the key trends reshaping loyalty programs, including increasing use of gamification and AI. The report states that 7 out of 10 companies already have gamification integrated in their loyalty strategies, offering significant increase in customer engagement and data collection. Gamification helps us do better by providing rewards, instructions and points pooling, and encourages participation.

The report further notes that 83% of loyalty program owners are seeing a positive ROI and the average return is 5.2x. Rewards and account sharing are becoming popular, with 70% of companies finding these features increase customer loyalty. In addition, AI is becoming essential, with 37 percent of loyalty programs already using AI, and 50 percent planning to rely on it soon.
