Naomi Campbell closed Dubai Fashion

Dubai Fashion Week came to a close on Sunday night, with supermodel Naomi Campbell closing the show for fashion house Rizman Ruzaini on the Dubai Design District.

On Sunday night, Dubai Fashion Week came to a close. However, it was not before famed international and regional fashion labels showcased some of the latest, trendy collections on the Dubai Design District runway.

As British supermodel Naomi Campbell walked the runway for Malaysian luxury fashion house Rizman Ruzaini on Sunday night, celebrity designer Michael Cinco of Dubai, who has dressed the likes of Beyonce, Lady Gaga, and Jennifer Lopez, debut his most recent collection.

A colorful tribute to Spanish culture, Cinco's collection featured capes, embroidered materials, and giant epaulettes studded with dazzling stones. Corsets, skirts, and short playsuits completed the adaptable ensemble, which featured short, fiery red and black blazers that parodied Matador attire.

In the meantime, 60 looks from Rizman Nordin and Ruzaini Jamil's collection were shown. Campbell walked the runway wearing a handcrafted gown encrusted with countless sparkling gemstones. The captivating story of Seri Gumum, a fabled dragon who once swam in Malaysia's Lake Chini's ominous waters, served as the basis for the look.

On the runway before that, several brands competed for visibility, including Anaya, Erick Bendana, Ihab Jiryis, Designers & US, and Valentin Yudashkin.

The Kiran Chaudhry-founded label Anaya, with locations in Dubai, showcased a couture line that featured chemise-like tops, organza creations, and superbly fitted trousers in naughty hues. A variety of pastel shades were also included in the selection of colors.
