From a two-person startup in a small Orlando office to an international managed service provider, what inspired the inception of Far Out Solutions in 2010, and how has the company’s vision evolved over the past two decades?
Far Out Solutions was born from the idea that IT should feel personal, reliable, and empowering — not overwhelming. Founded in 2010, what started as a two-person operation in a small Orlando office has grown into a global managed services provider supporting over 1,200 clients across the U.S., Canada, the UK, and the Middle East. Over the years, our vision has expanded beyond just fixing problems. Today, we focus on proactive strategy, automation, and enabling growth for our clients. Our guiding principle remains the same: to empower businesses through technology, with integrity and precision.
Far Out Solutions’ offerings span from Managed IT, Cybersecurity to Communication Services, with a strong focus on Microsoft AI Cloud solutions. What makes your approach unique, and how do you customize these services for small, mid-market, and enterprise clients?
Our uniqueness lies in our structure and scalability. We don’t offer a one-size-fits-all solution. Instead, we build tailored roadmaps based on a client’s size, compliance requirements, growth goals, and existing tech stack. For small businesses, we act as a full IT department. For mid-market and enterprise clients, we integrate with internal teams to enhance efficiency, security, and innovation. Every engagement includes proactive monitoring, audits, and alignment with customer success. We also leverage AI, Power BI, and automation tools to visualize risks and performance across each layer of the infrastructure.
As a designated Microsoft Cloud AI Solution Partner, how is Far Out Solutions leveraging Microsoft’s AI capabilities, such as CoPilot or M365 integrations, to enhance client productivity and innovation?
As an early adopter of Microsoft’s AI integrations, we're using tools like Copilot in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams to automate repetitive tasks, streamline communication, and enhance decision-making for clients. Our engineers and consultants help businesses integrate these AI tools into their daily workflows — whether it's summarizing meetings, creating real-time reports, or drafting proposals. For many clients, this isn't just about saving time — it's about transforming how they operate. We’ve also integrated these tools into our internal support operations, enabling faster resolution and deeper data insights.
With a 96% customer satisfaction score and a 100% satisfaction guarantee, how does Far Out Solutions measure and maintain such high standards of client success, and what processes are in place to ensure zero downtime for mission-critical systems?
Our approach to client satisfaction is rooted in transparency, speed, and reliability. We use real-time NPS surveys, monthly health reports, and account scorecards to measure service quality. Behind the scenes, our network operations center runs 24/7 across time zones, with automated alerts, failover systems, and image-based backups to minimize downtime. Each client is assigned a Customer Success Representative, backed by a proactive auditing team. We also conduct quarterly Technology Business Reviews (TBRs) to align roadmaps and eliminate blind spots before they become issues.
With over 150 tech enthusiasts worldwide, how does Far Out Solutions foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment across different cultures and regions, ensuring your team remains motivated to deliver outstanding service?
We believe that great service starts with great culture. Our team spans across the U.S., Philippines, Iraq, Canada, and more — and we’ve created a structure that blends autonomy with accountability. We use Microsoft Teams and Viva Insights to keep communication flowing, and we host monthly all-hands meetings to recognize wins and share updates. Each department operates under clear KPIs, but we also offer personal growth plans, mentorship programs, and promote internally. Our leadership is hands-on, accessible, and committed to celebrating cultural diversity as a strength.
Being considered for Global Best Companies of the Year 2025, what do you believe makes Far Out Solutions a standout candidate, particularly in terms of innovation, client impact, and global reach?
What sets us apart is our ability to balance innovation with execution. While many companies adopt new tech, we integrate it at scale across hundreds of clients — without disruption. We’ve developed internal platforms for security audits, customer scorecards, license tracking, and TBR automation — all while keeping client satisfaction above 95%. Our global reach spans four continents, yet we maintain the personal touch of a boutique firm. We’re building an ecosystem — not just a company — with dedicated divisions in IT, low voltage, cybersecurity, finance, and more.
Your commitment to combating human trafficking and supporting meaningful causes is inspiring. How does Far Out Solutions integrate social responsibility into its global operations, and what specific initiatives are you most proud of in 2025?
Giving back is central to our identity. We partner with organizations that combat human trafficking by offering secure technology platforms, donation management tools, and digital awareness campaigns. In 2025, we launched our “Tech for Freedom” initiative, through which we donate refurbished laptops and cybersecurity tools to nonprofit groups in vulnerable regions. We also provide internship opportunities for refugees and marginalized youth interested in IT. Internally, we donate a percentage of our Q4 revenue annually to causes selected by our team.
What's next for Far Out Solutions? Are there any exciting new services, AI advancements, or global expansion plans for 2025 to enhance client success?
In 2025, we’re doubling down on AI-powered customer reporting, MFA management dashboards, and Microsoft licensing intelligence tools. We’re also expanding into the UK with localized Teams VoIP offerings and strengthening our footprint in Saudi Arabia through our bilingual brand, “Tiqniyah by Far Out Solutions.” Our low-voltage division, Infratech Innovations, is launching IoT-based access control for smart buildings, and our new company, Uruk Financials, is offering offshore accounting services with U.S. oversight — giving clients financial and technological support under one roof.
Zaid AlChalabi, COO – Driving Global Impact through Tech and Tenacity
Born in London and raised in Iraq, Zaid AlChalabi began his entrepreneurial journey at just 16, running a small computer shop. His early passion for technology and business laid the foundation for a remarkable career. He went on to serve as Principal Engineer at a major telecom provider, leading initiatives across a workforce of more than 500 employees.
Driven by ambition and resilience, Zaid later immigrated to the U.S., rebuilding from the ground up. Today, he serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Far Out Solutions and oversees several sister companies, including Infratech Innovations, Support My MSP, and Uruk Financials.
