Cio Bulletin
In a world increasingly defined by technology, speed, and a relentless pursuit of results, Liderarte invites us to pause—and feel. It is not just a company, but a living movement led by Ignacio Bonasa, a former banking executive who chose to shift from numbers to emotions, from power to purpose. Founded in 2014, Liderarte has become a transformative force in the talent development sector through its pioneering methodology: Learning through Art®.
This is not about corporate training; it’s about awakening. It’s about remembering that organizations are made of people, and people thrive when they connect with beauty, creativity, and inner truth. Liderarte is one of the few organizations bold enough to lead from the soul, becoming a global benchmark in emotional leadership and human-centered innovation.
At CIO Bulletin, we had the honor of interviewing Ignacio Bonasa, Founder and Executive President of Liderarte. During our conversation, he shared profound insights into how he and his team of “soul artisans” are transforming organizational performance through their unique, innovative, and deeply effective methodology: Learning through Art®.
Interview Highlights
What inspired the creation of Liderarte, and how did the vision of transforming organizational performance through the innovative “Learning through Art®” methodology come to life?
Liderarte was born from an existential question that emerged after years of professional success: “What if this isn’t what I was meant to do?” Ignacio Bonasa, Founder and Executive President, decided to leave the world of high finance to create a new paradigm in leadership and development—one that integrates emotion, purpose, and beauty. That rupture became a rebirth.
From there emerged Learning through Art®, a proprietary methodology that combines experiential learning with four key pillars: Learning, Attitude, Soul, and Action (the 4A Model). Through music, theater, storytelling, visual arts, and creative movement, Liderarte activates emotional intelligence, awakens self-awareness, and promotes authentic leadership—well beyond cognitive training.
Can you share an overview of the key services and programs Liderarte provides, and how they cater to different levels of an organization?
Liderarte works across all levels of organizations, offering a comprehensive and transformative portfolio. Its programs are structured into three main areas: training, motivation, and development.
For senior executives and Boards, Liderarte offers premium programs such as:
These focus on strategic vision, influence, and decision-making through artistic simulations.
Middle managers benefit from sessions like Creative Gym and Brain Experience Journey, while collaborators engage in RESETÉATE and Emotional Wellness modules. There are also vertical learning journeys tailored to each corporate level—from immersive teambuilding to cultural reinvention processes.
Liderarte’s ‘Learning through Art®’ formula—combining anticipation, results, transparency, and enthusiasm—is truly distinctive. How has this methodology positioned Liderarte as a standout company in the talent management industry for 2025?
Because it is radically different.
While most competitors operate in intellectual and technical spheres, Liderarte moves in emotional and experiential dimensions. Its formula goes far beyond content—it’s an emotional transformation journey.
This emotional footprint is what allows Liderarte to leave a lasting impression and measurable impact. It’s not just innovative—it’s human. And that’s exactly what organizations are seeking in 2025.
Liderarte emphasizes a holistic view of both the individual and the organization. How do you ensure your programs align with the unique needs of Boards of Directors, Management Committees, Middle Management, and Collaborators?
We listen—deeply. Before each project, we carry out emotional diagnostics and design a tailored map of each organizational layer’s needs. We understand that a Board needs to reconnect with meaning and purpose; that management requires tools for influence, empathy, and resilience; and that teams need trust, recognition, and psychological safety.
Each Liderarte program is like a symphony: different instruments for different parts of the orchestra all aligned under one shared melody. We don’t deliver one-size-fits-all solutions—we compose each intervention based on the emotional architecture of the organization.
The YOUNG TALENT CAMP program for employees’ children is a unique initiative. What inspired this, and how does it reflect Liderarte’s commitment to nurturing future leaders?
Young Talent Camp was born from a simple yet powerful idea:
If we want to transform organizations, we must also invest in future generations.
It’s a week of emotional, creative, and human-centered leadership for employees’ children—young minds who will one day become the leaders of tomorrow.
Through theater, storytelling, music, and design thinking, they learn to listen, empathize, speak in public, and connect with their talents. The impact is profound. Families feel more engaged, children find their voice, and companies extend their culture of human development down to their roots.
Your team of soul artisans combines professional experience and artistic backgrounds. How do you cultivate such a dynamic team, and what role does their artistic talent play in the delivery of your programs?
We don’t hire employees—we invite soul artisans.
Our team is made up of people with dual expertise: professional backgrounds in business, education, or psychology, and artistic training or experience. Theater directors, musicians, dancers, poets, educators, and coaches work side by side.
What makes them special is their ability to touch hearts, spark emotional experiences, and create meaningful learning environments. They don’t teach from a pedestal—they walk beside you with authenticity. That’s why we call them artisans: because they shape transformation with their hands, their hearts, and their voices.
Being recognized as one of the “Best Companies to Watch 2025” is a remarkable achievement. What key milestones or innovations led to this recognition?
This recognition comes after more than a decade of consistency, innovation, and human-centered commitment.
Our key milestones include:
We also lead Young Talent Camp and Womentoring, and we are finalizing Europe’s first Master of Life (MASVida). But beyond all achievements, our impact is seen in thousands of people who have cried, awakened, and reconnected with their essence through our sessions. That is what sets us apart.
Looking ahead, what legacy does Liderarte hope to leave in the talent development field? How do you envision your programs shaping the future of work?
We want to leave a legacy of soul-centered leadership—a more human future of work where emotion, art, vulnerability, and beauty are not only accepted, but celebrated.
Our mission is to help shape emotionally intelligent organizations that care for their people and dare to be different. We envision Liderarte as an international movement of soulful leaders, purpose-driven companies, and programs that don’t just train—but transform.
The future of talent development won’t be about processes—it will be about presence. And that is the music we want to play.
Final Reflection: Through the Eyes of the Executive President
The Art of Leading Begins with the Courage to Feel
Being recognized as one of the Best Companies to Watch 2025 is not a destination—it is a milestone in Liderarte’s journey. A path not measured in profits or press, but in awakenings. In professionals rediscovering their essence. In companies choosing to become spaces of meaning, not just productivity.
Liderarte doesn’t deliver training—it crafts experiences. It doesn’t produce slides—it mobilizes emotions. It doesn’t offer content—it ignites transformation.
With every RESETÉATE, with every leadership journey through jazz, musicals, or storytelling, with every child discovering their light in Young Talent Camp, Liderarte plants what the world needs most: presence, emotion, soul.
Because true leadership is not about standing out—it’s about helping others shine. And that—precisely that—is the legacy Liderarte wants to leave in the world.
Ignacio Bonasa: Igniting Human Potential through Art and Leadership
Ignacio Bonasa is the heart and founder of Liderarte. After a successful career as CEO and executive at institutions like BBVA and Caja Rural, he chose to transform his own life to help others transform theirs. He is a visionary, a feliciologist, and a speaker who turned his pain into a method of transformation.
Today, he leads more than 30 soul-driven projects, presides over three international associations, and has received global recognition for his contributions to emotional leadership. But beyond titles, Ignacio is a man who chose to lead with truth. And that truth has become the compass of Liderarte.
