Different industries across the globe are always looking for ways to innovate their practices, and the construction industry is no exception to this. Advancements in technology are the key to helping construction methods progress, and to creating exciting projects that are bigger and better than ever before. Technology in construction is advancing rapidly and changing the way building projects run. Major technological advancements have improved productivity and also made the work environment safer for employees. If you work in the construction industry or are looking at working in this field, it is important that you understand the role of technology in the industry and are up to date with the latest innovations.
Construction technology enables the advancement of construction methods through the development of innovative tools, machinery, software and modifications. This may also include pre-construction software such as estimating tools. In construction, each project differs from the next. This makes standardizing the various processes very difficult, which impacts productivity. The usage of technology, such as AI and ML, helps to automate and streamline many processes and thus improves productivity.
OnIndus is one such company that was found in 2018 by industry veterans with combined technology and construction software experience focused on program management, change management, enterprise technology development and training. With vast exposure to all facets of construction technology, the team has observed, developed, and executed best-in-class processes for the construction industry and developing best practices for infrastructure and building capital improvement programs of all sizes. The team is located across the U.S with headquarters in South Florida. At OnIndus they listen to each other, leverage and learn from each individual’s expertise, make decisions based on reason – not rank – take responsibility for the actions and drive their efforts to the betterment of the customer.
Combining Technology and Construction Software Experience to Leverage Products that Unify the Architecture and Engineering
OnIndus Orchestra: An enterprise data warehouse is a core component of business intelligence; it is also used to drive successful capital improvement programs. A central repository of integrated data from disparate systems allows for historical and current real-time data to be stored in a single location to create reports and dashboards delivering standardized and consistent information across owner organizational departments. Create transparency for all stakeholders while training users on how to use and optimize the new system improvements. Sensors installed on materials and equipment track how everything else is moving about the construction site. OnIndus Orchestra leverages work from the system integration platform, utilizing data from disparate systems—PMIS, GIS, Accounting/ERP, Asset Management, SFTP, and other enterprise applications. Via a proprietary platform, it is able to aggregate, compare, and develop insightful and actionable reports for and insights into each program.
OnIndus Harmony: Capital improvement programs cannot function properly when systems do not communicate. In addition, without a centralized view that accurately shares real-time data, owners are vulnerable to the risk of losing tens of thousands of dollars and possible lawsuits. OnIndus Harmony is a learning platform that delivers custom module training to those working in your PMIS – contractors and owners. With custom training modules and reporting it will be clear to owners what users are maximizing the PMIS and who needs additional training. The more efficient users become with the PMIS tool, the more effective they are in their roles and the more they develop and grow as professionals. Comprehensive training on PMIS modules, report running, and best practices empowers end users to work efficiently in the solution, delivering on the enterprise software investment and ultimately on program outcomes. In addition, reminder training and onboarding training are always available 24×7.
OnIndus Maestro: Enterprise system integration simplifies processes, reduces costs, and ensures efficiency across an owner organization. OnIndus’s proprietary enterprise system integration platform, OnIndus Maestro, empowers project managers and other key project stakeholders with real-time reports derived from multiple systems in a single console. The company follows an inverted pyramid approach to set prioritizations during an effective selection of the right PMIS solution. The main consideration is to prioritize your organization’s requirements and find opportunities for how your teams can work together more efficiently. The OnIndus team will lead your organization through each step of the Enterprise System Integration: A Roadmap to Wrangling Your Data, to define the systems and data points needed to deliver complete visibility for a capital improvement program. OnIndus Maestro simplifies the sharing of critical data across an owner organization, enabling consisncy and accuracy in day-to-day operations and eliminating redundant data errors PMIS, Accounting/ERP, scheduling, GIS, asset management, and PMIS data.
