Xuanchuang Robot attracts Pre-A funding in a bid to enhance robotic R&D and market development, focusing on industrial solutions in the emerging robotics industry of China.

Xuanchuang Robot, headquartered in Shenzhen, has concluded an A round of tens of millions of yuan of investment led by Orient Fortune Capital, with Yunyue Capital as financial consultant. The money will be used in the research, development, and opening up of the market so as to consolidate its position in the Chinese robotics industry that is growing rapidly.

Xuanchuang Robot is a startup founded in 2022 that focuses on embodied intelligent robotics applications in petrochemical, nuclear power, new energy, agriculture, and underwater sectors. It also has operation and maintenance robots, composite operation robots, and machines serving clients, including Wanhua Chemical, PetroChina, and Tianan Coal Mining.

The company has its origins in the Robotics Research Institute of the Harbin Institute of Technology and focuses on lightweight machine architecture, recognition algorithms, and heterogeneous chassis design. Xuanchuang is able to reach profitability, and the company now has revenues doubling yearly and growing demand in special industrial situations.

According to industry experts, China's special robotics market is growing at an annual compound growth rate of more than 20 percent and would reach 30.6 billion yuan by 2025.
