SAP organizes an event in London that demonstrates AI-based supply chain coordination and resiliency measures.
SAP UKI is organizing its Connect Day to Supply Chain on 12 March 2026 in London, with an invitation to industry experts who are keen to learn about the ways intelligent technologies are transforming the modern-day supply chains. The occasion will aim at assisting organizations to maneuver through the growing complexity caused by global disruption and sustainability pressure and accelerated by digital architecture.
Due to the shift in supply chains in highly interconnected ecosystems, numerous companies still use the old systems, which restrict visibility and responsiveness. SAP experts say that today's supply chain operations require complete coordination that includes automation, data integration, and smart technology to change from just reacting to situations to actively managing them.
SAP Supply Chain Management is at the center of this transformation and offers a single digital platform that encompasses planning, manufacturing, logistics and operations. Direct integration with ERP systems helps achieve process objectives and their application within the framework of process effectiveness, particularly in relation to operational decisions and financial results, thereby enhancing agility and compliance.
Predictive decision-making, real-time inventory availability and smart logistics are some of the AI-driven insights of the SAP solutions. These capabilities, according to SAP, are assisting organizations to develop more resilient, sustainable, and customer-centric supply chains.
SAP Connect Day will explore the four main pillars, which include Plan, Make, Deliver, and Operate, based on real-life case studies and discussions on similar levels. Customers will speak, such as Nouryon, PPG, Yorkshire Water, and Coca-Cola Euro-pacific Partners, as well as SAP senior executives. Keynote speaker Tim Peake will also be involved in the event and will present ideas regarding resilience and adaptation to complex environments.
