Infosys Partners with Cursor to Bring AI-Driven Software Engineering to the Enterprise Core

Infosys and Cursor collaboration aims to help global businesses modernize software faster by embedding AI directly into engineering workflows.

Infosys has announced a strategic collaboration with Cursor to strengthen its software engineering capabilities and support enterprises adopting artificial intelligence at scale. The partnership reflects a growing shift in how global organizations build, modernize, and manage software in an AI-driven world.

As part of the collaboration, Infosys and Cursor will establish a dedicated Center of Excellence focused on AI-powered software engineering. The CoE will explore how intelligent software agents can be used to develop and modernize AI-native products, making complex engineering tasks faster and more efficient.

Through the partnership, Infosys engineers will gain access to Cursor’s AI-assisted development tools across both new and existing enterprise systems. Cursor’s platform will also be integrated with Infosys Topaz Fabric, the company’s agent-based services ecosystem that brings together data, models, applications, infrastructure, and workflows in one unified environment.

This integration is expected to help clients modernize core systems at a much faster pace while significantly improving developer productivity. Cursor’s platform already supports advanced capabilities such as multi-agent development, automated testing, and rapid code refactoring, tools designed to reduce manual effort and speed up delivery.

Infosys noted that Cursor’s technology is currently used by a majority of Fortune 1000 companies, highlighting its relevance at enterprise scale. Leaders from both companies emphasized that the collaboration is focused on turning AI ideas into real business results.

By combining Infosys’ global delivery strength with Cursor’s AI-first development platform, the partnership aims to help enterprises build reliable, scalable, and future-ready software, where AI is not just an add-on, but a core part of how software is engineered.
