Built on the success of existing ScaleFlux product line over the past ten years, ScaleFlux further expands its product portfolio with SoC controllers and SSDs to mitigate the growing global data storage demand.

ScaleFlux has revealed that it has greatly diversified its product portfolio by adding new components designed to improve the performance, efficiency, and reliability of data centers. This is in line with a growing global data clearly production, which grew by an estimated 74 times over the last thirteen years, thus creating a clear demand for superior storage capabilities.

Three new SoC controllers have also been launched along with the production of the FX5016 SSD controller and CSD5000 NVMe SSDs. As expressed by Hao Zhong, CEO and Co-Founder of ScaleFlux, these are vital “ScaleFlux has always been at the forefront in innovations SSD and memory performance, power consumption, and data protection.”

Among these products are the FC5116, which happens to be the first SSD controller to feature the Caliptra open-source security technology, and the FC5104, which is designed for enterprise NVMe boot drives with loss-less write data protection features. MC500 also makes history by being the first one of its kind –Type 3, CXL 3.1, supporting DDR4 and DDR5 memory at the same time.

On the other hand, FX5016 SSD Controller supports PCIe 5.0 with laser based write reduction technology, thus supporting the high performance SSD data center. Also, the CSD5000 drive is now in production with standards compliant to Open Compute Project (OCP) specifications.

ScaleFlux strives to be ‘open’ in every sense, contributing designs to the OCP Marketplace and promising to exhibit at the forthcoming OCP Global Summit. Zhong added, “By virtue of our approach that takes into consideration both scalability and interoperability, we are able to provide cutting edge storage solutions in different settings within a very short period.”
