Meta rolls out AI-based translation technology across Facebook and Instagram that allows creators to dub, lip-sync, and translate content, reaching audiences across the globe.
Facebook and Instagramparent company Metais implementing its new AI-driven translation tool worldwide in a bid to enable creators to expand their base. The option, which currently handles English and Spanish, will shortly be available in additional languages.
Using the new translation software, creators will be able to automatically process the translation of posts, captions and bios without involving manual translation or third-party apps. Meta emphasizes that the system is trained to be tone-style and naturalness-aware, and so the content feels natural in various languages.
The translation program also provides dubbing and lip-sync to the reels and the video creators can share their videos in different languages without any trouble. Prior to publication, one can switch between translation preferences, compare answers, and accept alterations. The translated reels are presented to the viewers in their preferred languages, with the translation setting controlled by the user.
Meta's recent release has improved the company's translation software, making it one of the essential tools that can help creators build audiences worldwide. The rollout will initially aid a few creators and slowly increase in other regions across the globe, enhancing multilingualism throughout the platforms.
