Qatar Airways has partnered with gategroup to enhance its in-flight and Doha lounge menus as part of its investment in the passenger experience.

As part of the Gulf carrier's investment in the passenger experience, Qatar Airways has signed an agreement with airline catering specialists’ gategroup to improve its menus in-flight and in Doha lounges.

By means of the collaboration, which will take the form of a business management contract, Qatar Airways will have access to the gategroup's knowledge of menu planning, food preparation, and fine dining. The gategroup is based in Switzerland. In order to provide effective, inventive, and custom menus for Qatar Airways, a team based in Doha will assist in the establishment of a specialized culinary studio. High-quality, healthful ingredients, such as locally produced food for authenticity and sustainability as well as to support small businesses, will be used in the new meals.

The culinary studio's creations will be served in the opulent lounges of Qatar Airways' home base, Hamad International Airport in Doha, as well as on flights.

Every mouthwatering bite will be the result of gategroup's methodical quality, taste, and appearance control and efficient food manufacturing. Qatar Airways has made significant investments in the passenger experience in recent years, as evidenced by its array of opulent airport lounges, dedicated customer service, and innovative business class Qsuites.

The airline introduced the Privilege Club Collection last month, a platform that allows Avios members to bid points for unique experiences that are beyond the reach of money.
