Unchained Robotics Secures Funding to Simplify Automation

With the help of LUNA OS, Unchained Robotics makes automation simple and gets access to 8.5M euro to extend worldwide and serve manufacturers with user-friendly robotics options.

German startup Unchained Robotics has secured 8.5 million euros in expansion-stage Series A financing to grow its usable factory automation services. Catering to the Series A round is Direttissima Growth Partners with other investors on board to scale its LUNA OS platform and increase its operations in the U.S.

Luna OS is the company's core product which is an operating system for industrial robots, enabling manufacturers to use automation with little technical knowledge. It offers the MalocherBot modular solution, including packaging and palletizing applications, already used by more than 300 companies in Europe.

It is a great change towards rendering automation to SMEs. Mladen Milicevic, co-founder, stated the following: everyone is in search of simple and affordable automation means that no programming is required.

Unchained Robotics recently released a key U.S. project with Alb Bl Group, installing more than 20 robots, and intends to expand to 70. Automation-first is also based on the fact that the company wants to overcome labor shortages and in-house expertise.

With AI, software, and modular design, Unchained Robotics keeps breaking the barriers in implementing automation.
