Planet Group Appoints Lorenz Pestinger CFO

The Planet Group enhances leadership through a seasoned CFO to help achieve a global expansion strategy.

The Planet Group , an IT and engineering staffing services company headquartered in Chicago, is pleased to announce Lorenz Pestinger as their new CFO as the company steps up the international expansion.

Pestinger is the new member of The Planet Group who previously worked in the executive search firm of DHR Global as the executive vice president of finance and strategy. He was also greatly exposed to international markets during his years of service in the five years he spent in the Europe and Asia Pacific region. The incoming CFO will increase the fiscal governance, with the financial strategy getting aligned to the long-term expansion strategies of the company.

Speaking of the appointment, CEO Tim Simersley stated that Pestinger is a person with a rare combination of financial expertise, international operating experience, and strategic partners that would be a very good fit for a staffing- and consulting-oriented company. Pestinger will be the CFO in charge of enhancing the financial base of the organization, the optimal use of capital, and the spread of scalable growth programs.

As the CFO, Pestinger will also collaborate well with other executive leaders in making investment decisions and help The Planet Group grow its global presence. He has a graduate degree, an MBA, from the University Of Chicago Booth School Of Business, and his standing as an executive is enhanced by excellent scholarly qualifications.
