Another milestone in compliance and governance at the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) lies in its renewed certification of the ISO 37301:2021. Since being one of the first organizations in the world to achieve this norm, DEWA is still enhancing its strategies as a regulatory leader.

The certificate was awarded to HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA, at the headquarters of the authority together with the top management. He added that the institutional culture of DEWA revolves around world-class compliance frameworks, which are vital in propagating the corporate governance, transparency and regulatory responsibility. The re-certification reinforces the commitment of DEWA to ensure that there is an excellent level of compliance and governance in all its operations.

The highly automated workflows, dashboards, and instant reporting provide DEWA with a fully digital compliance ecosystem, which improves the control and allows it to anticipate risks.
